Why is my PC so slow?
I have a Lenovo Ideapad y560p laptop, I bought because of this video showed its great gaming performance.
Specs:
2nd generation Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor ( 2.00GHz 1333MHz 6MB )
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64
AMD Radeon HD 6570m 1GB
8 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz
I decided to buy it for $800 (on sale, still is) from Lenovo and I thought it was going to be a great experience but this game can barely run GTA IV for PC on LOWEST SETTINGS with the PC set to High Performance & gaming mode, it runs at about 20 fps. I can play Oblivion and Fallout New Vegas fine but only on low-medium settings to get good 40-60 fps…
Help me out here, something is seriously wrong. I have McAfee security system, CCleaner which I use frequently to clean registries. I restored registries I cleaned but it still runs so slow.
Well, if ur new pc gets slowing down in a few weeks or months, its normal, but keep in mind to get rid of junk files constantly and make sure it is free of virus.
