I would like to use it for something. The specs are pentium 4 3.2, 512 mb ram, 500 gb hdd, no video card, but a DVR that is capable of recording up to 16 cameras at a time. What would you do with it? Does anyone know how I can output cable tv to DVI or VGA?

Is there a way to hook up my security camera to my computer?
The security camera does not have s-video, only rca outputs. I assume I could buy a converter, but do not know how the computer would recognize that it is a camera. What about splicing a camera usb cord and attaching it to rca cables. Would that bring up media player and play it possibly?
