Inside the boombox hidden camera is a choice of a black-and-white work hire colored board camera, which can be wired or wireless. The wireless version comes with a 32.4 GHz receiver. This gets the signal from the transmitter located in inside the boombox. The camera has a.003 lux which allows for recording in almost complete darkness using only ambient light like a television screen or night light.
This particular model comes with a DVR built-in as another option.
Here’s how it works:
Aim in the direction you want to record and plug it in. Using the remote control that comes with the unit start recording. The models that have no DVR built-in need some kind of recording device to record the images. Otherwise you can just monitor the pictures on your TV set.
The model with a built-in DVR is a little bit more expensive but it is so easy to operate. Even I can do it. Images are recorded to an SD card for easy playback. Up to 144 hours can be recorded. Motion activated recording, area masking and date/time stamping are valuable features.

are there any federal or state laws prohibiting the use of signal jamming spy technology devices?
I also would like to know about laws that prohibit the use of other spy bugs, cameras, and transmitters?
The FCC regulates transmissions in general. If a transmitter is legally transmitting,then it is a violation of the law to jam that transmission. So the question about spy technology depends on whether it is a legal transmission.
In this case I would presume that the transmitting equipment is itself either licensed or listed as exempt by the FCC (almost always the latter). So you cannot simply block all transmissions. However if it is used as a “spy” camera then it transmitting from inside a private facility or residence and the owner of the premises would be permitted to jam the signal in so far as it did not jam other legitimate signals on the same frequency.
