Operating in the areas of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods, and building technology, the Bosch Group reported sales of 43.7 billion in fiscal 2006, an increase of 5.4% over the previous fiscal.
In 2005, worldwide sales of the Bosch Group came to 41.5 billion (reported as US$49,102,300,000), with about US$8 billion in US sales. In the auto-component supply market, the top competitors of Robert Bosch GmbH are: Delphi Corporation, Visteon, DENSO Corporation, and, Continental AG.
In 2004, Robert Bosch GmbH was 17th on the list of Top 20 Patent Winners in the United States, with 907 new patents. This was an improvement from 20th (758 patents) in 2003, and 23rd (683 patents) in 2002. Ownership
Robert Bosch GmbH, including its wholly owned subsidiaries such as Robert Bosch LLC in North America, is unusual in that it is an extremely large, privately owned corporation that is almost entirely (92%) owned by a charitable foundation. Thus, while most of the profits are ploughed back into the corporation to build for the future and sustain growth, nearly all of the profits distributed to shareholders are devoted to humanitarian causes.

For example, in 2004, the net profit was US$2.1 billion, but only US$78 million was distributed as dividends to shareholders. Of that figure, US$72 million was distributed to the charitable foundation, and the other US$6 million to Bosch family stockholders. The remaining 96% of the profits were pumped back into the company. Plug Europe Usa Questions

Hi, I got a European Xbox 360, and I’m not able to use it here in America. What could I do?

When I plug the console in the outlet, 3 red flashing lights appear. I tried to do all I could, but nothing happened. Please help me use my PAL Xbox 360 in the USA, I just brought it with me from Europe.
I would like to sell the console on eBay, but the problem is that i don’t have the box here with me, I just brought the console and the games. By the Way, what is the American voltage? I can buy an NTSC adapter on eBay (for using the Xbox on an American TV) but the real problem I think is the power.

Most European appliances run on 220V so you would need a step-up power converter. You could probably find one at Radio Shack. The big problem is that the European Xbox is PAL standard and the US uses the NTSC standard. There may be a converter but I haven’t heard of one.

Can U.S. bought power supply work in Europe?

My question is do computer power supplies bought in USA, work in Europe or would it fry my PC if i plugged it in directly without a special voltage converter.

I am thinking of purchasing ,
SilverStone (SST-ST60F) 600 Watt
but i will be moving to Europe with my PC later in the year.

I looked and the PS does not have the switch but i did find this info. Does auto range mean that i dont need to flip the switch it will just figure out which power to use? Thanks.

Hi. Many PSUs have a switch for 110V or 220V. See if the Silverstone unit has this switch. Answer 1 is correct about you needing a plug adapter.
