How to Keep Your Child’s Room Organized and Clean

Children are just plain messy. We all know this. And no matter how much we get onto our kids to clean up their rooms, they simply will not keep that room clean and organized! Part of the problem is your own fault, though. Really, how can your child keep their room clean and organized if it doesn’t start out that way? The best thing to do to end this constant room cleaning battle is to organize their toys in such a way that they can easily keep the room clean.

The biggest culprit of badly organized rooms is small toys. You can drill your child into playing with only one toy at a time to keep their room clean, but if all the small toys filter to the bottom of the toy box, your child will end up trashing their room just looking for that one toy! This is why organizing your child’s room is so important. The best way to do this is with organizational bins or door hangars that are available in any department store. Mark each bin or cubby with a picture or word describing what goes there. In this way, your child’s room can stay clean and organized!
