Talk about Indonesian People characteristic

If we want to talk about Indonesian People, probably we can make a book. So many kind of unique thing about Indonesian people. Starting from the generosity, the creativity,the emotional for the same suffer, the big number of society, the cheapest maid for outside country.

They call us with many kind of variety. Like in USA, people can take anything and put the price by their own and paid it by their own. In Indonesia, U will not do that. It is really hard acting honest in Indonesia. 1 to 100 people will act with honest.

But, if we want to take an example about how Indonesian people can change 180 degrees, we can mention it. If you live in Indonesia, its hard to stay on queuing. But everything different if suddenly you go get into Singapore. Suddenly, you act really disciplined, wanna knows about the rules. Never spit, just throw garbage on the place, acting nice. Everything looks perfect. But, when you get back into Indonesian again, you will back to your old habit. Undisciplined, don’t care about clean and unpatient.

So, if we evaluate again, how that is possibly happen ? Perhaps its about the environment. So starting from environment it supposed to change our people habit.

If you see people from India, Malaysia, Philippine, Singapore. Why they have more value than Us ? Many people said that Indonesia’s Education system is Bad. From list of 200 the Best University in The World, none of it are from Indonesia. Malaysia have one, Singapore,Hong Kong, Australia( so many), England (so many). Indonesia has thousands of University and 17 thousand major in all Indonesia. But none of it had put in the list. Why ?

Indonesian people is a smart people. Many Indonesian people has outstanding mark and become a great professional on outside country. But probably it won’t happen when they stay here. Some people said, u cannot be a specialist in Indonesia. Because many Indonesian people do something in multifunction and get experience with learning by doing without proper knowledge.

Indonesian people love to act too late. Our people love to act if the enemy has reach few meters in front of us. It happens in Business. It said we have to make a change while we still on the top, not after we slightly down, it has too late for that. That’s why Indonesian on Business always cannot reach the top when the monster from outside Indonesia come.

We have to admit that Globalization have made a tough competition, and we have to survive.
