Sen. Amy Klobuchar Endorses Obama

Barack Obama picked up the endorsement of Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar Sunday night, giving him another super delegated supporter. Klobuchar said, “Obama has inspired an enthusiasm and idealism that we have not seen in this country in a long time. Obama speaks with a different voice, bringing a new perspective and inspiring a real excitement from the American people”, Klobuchar said. She compared Obama to the late Hubert Humphrey, who served as a senator from Minnesota and as vice president. Obama carried Minnesota by a large margin over rival Hillary Rodham Clinton last month. According to Klobuchar, her endorsement reflects both Barrack’s strong support in her state and her own independent judgment about his abilities citing some of their work together on issues such as ethics reform and toy safety. “Barack has been a proven agent for change and advocate for middle-class Americans,” Klobuchar said. Obama must be very grateful for all the endorsements he got, he should then give his best shot in this race.
