Just like the song goes, I want to be a rock star. No, I don’t really want to be a rock star. What I want is to be famous, my name to be on everyone’s lips. Since becoming a rock star seems to be the easiest way to accomplish that, then I want to be a rock star, you dig?

I’ve just found the most interesting place online where I can live my dream of becoming a rock star – and ultimately – of becoming a celebrity. I’m talking about the Culture Mob where artists (aspiring artists mostly) can promote their work and themselves to the rest of the internet populace. Here, you can advertise your events (performances, of course), network with people in your neighborhood and ask your connections to tell their own contacts and friends about it. Through the Culture Mob widgets, you’ll be able to display your events on your MySpace and Facebook profile.
