Confused About Medicare? Ask AGIS

Published by admin | Filed under misc sites review, humanity, health

Some government programs are, unfortunately, difficult to follow for most people. Although they are free, several programs incur extra costs, others require an annual deductible to be paid, and others are dependent on certain factors of a person’s lifestyle. Such is the case with the Medicare program and its sister program Medicaid.

AGIS – Assist Guide Information Services – has put together an excellent website explaining the extent of the coverage offered with both Medicaid and Medicare help programs in great detail. It includes a breakdown of each program, the scope of coverage and its limitations, as well as essential Medicaid and Medicare resources, such as online forms and checklists to ensure you have everything in order prior to applications. The site also encourages appealing decisions believed to be unfair or incorrect, but urges applicants to do so in the correct manner, which is also outlaid on the same page.

Medicare and Medicaid are both geared for an older age group, so agis.com is particularly helpful in that everything is spelled out very clearly, printed larger than many other sites, and outlines specifically coverage which incurs an additional charge. There are several useful articles and links as well as numerous related topics to explore regarding caregiving and healthcare.
