Which do you think is dirtier? Your toilet or your computer keyboard? Forget the thought that toilets are dirtier because according to new research, keyboards are more dangerous and dirtier than your toilet. A test was conducted identifying the level of bacteria on 30-plus pc keyboards and results are then compared to those bacteria found on toilet seat and toilet door handle. Test shows that pc keyboard had 150times the pass-limit of bacteria and was 5 times filthier than of the toilet seat. Keyboards contained staphylococcus aureus which can cause food poisoning and skin infections. A survey also shows that 11% don’t clean their keyboards and only 29% cleans their keyboards at least once every month. Well I clean mine once a month but sometimes not at all. I guess the best thing one can do if they cannot manage to clean their pc keyboard is to have an alcohol with them and make it a habit to disinfect their hands on or after using the keyboard.
