Some things in life are free, aren’t they?

It’s a clever marketing ploy to offer something for free, mostly because just about anyone will read what you have to say on that basis alone. Vistaprint.co.uk have been giving away free business cards for a while now - I knew about it a long time ago - though I did nothing about it. However, more recently, I ordered something from Amazon and got a card reminding me of the special offer of free business cards. When I visited the site, it’s true, the cards are free, and so are a number of other products: t-shirts, notepads, letterheads, postcards, magnets etc…all you do is pay the postage, which is quite reasonable (choice of slow, standard, or express). So where is the money in that? Well, there are plenty of set designs, but if you want to change anything it’s an extra pound or so. Special offers of 1 free, 2 for less etc…are also offered, as are matching items which you pay for. My order came to just over 25 pounds, despite my only wanting one item. That said, it’s well-worth it! We’ll see what sort of quality Vista produce and if it’s good I guess we’ll order again…and again…and again…
