With Christmas looming ahead, there are bargain and sale items galore, being offered in every shop and establishment vying for your business before the big 25 Dec. Be careful. It’s easy to get sucked into thinking that you’re getting a bargain, because for example, your brand of spaghetti comes with a free cheese grater. However, before you go leaping in and grabbing every bargain on display, check them out. Usually, the imported brand of spaghetti with the free grater costs considerably more than a local brand. Add the cost of the grater and you might just find that the price ends up being higher than if you bought the two items separately!
