Spielberg to Focus on Civil War Film

Steven Spielberg, a famous film maker of sci-fi movies is now focusing his attention on civil war films and Abraham Lincoln. According to his statement on a weekly magazine, he’ll focus his attention in directing an epic film about the 16th president for DreamWorks that might start filming early next year. “Tintin” will be Spielberg’s first film to shoot in early fall. The Lincoln film is expected to be ready by 2009. Of course, the shoot will start sooner or later. Spielberg has proven his mastery in shooting back-to-back films back when he made “Jurassic Park” and “Schindler’s List” in 1993. Spielberg’s Lincoln project has a powerful script by “Angels in America” playwright Tony Kushner. Liam Neeson is expected to play Lincoln’s character as he agreed more than 3 years ago for Spielberg’s film. So far, Spielberg’s films were the best, so I bet, this movie will be a big hit just like any other Spielberg’s movie, let’s wait and see then.
