Jay-Z Preferred Tattoo Than Ring

The hip-hop icon Jay-Z, who wed Beyonce Knowles last month, doesn’t feel the need to wear jewelry as he is contented with the ‘ring’ tattooed on his wedding finger. Jay-Z said he doesn’t need more bling, this is a very personal thing for him and he won’t wear anything other than a tattoo in public. Last week, the superstar couple officially confirmed their marriage.

The pair filed their signed marriage license on April 18 in Scarsdale, New York. Beyonce and Jay-Z applied for the license on April 1 and the wedding date was set on April 4 2008, three days before the ceremony. Scarsdale Town Clerk Donna Conkling said: “They were very low-key and weren’t dressed up. They did not have a large entourage.” The couple took the license home that day, and then signed it and mailed it in after the ceremony. Wearing the wedding ring means that you are proud that you got married, but seems Jay-Z had a different way of thinking. Well, he got right over that. Congratulations to both of you!
