Del Toro producing ‘Dark’ remake

If you’re one of those huge fans of “Hellboy” then you probably know Del Toro! Well if you don’t then remember the name, Guillermo Del Toro, a Mexican filmmaker who directed the two Hellboy movies. And guess what? He’s on his way on producing and co-writing a remake of “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark”, a 1973 classic horror movie. Other than Hellboy, Del Toro is also the man behind the movie “Pan’s Labyrinth”. “Dark,” will be a film about a girl who is sent to live with her father and his new girl which later discovers the frightening creatures living underneath the stairs. This movie will mark the feature directional debut of comic book artist and writer Troy Nixey. This will be a dream come true for Nixey working on a project with Del Toro since he was the writer’s favorite filmmaker. Well, what can I say with Hellboy and Pan’s Labyrinth? They’re both great movies so no doubt this “Dark” remake will be as good as other Del Toro films.
