A very fertile panda couple

A couple of panda, namely Bai Yun and Gao Gao, has produced 3 cubs since 2003 in San Diego Zoo. This fertility rate has made them the most productive panda couple ever in captivity. The key success to this fertility is what the animal observers called a great risk because the pandas live separately, far apart from each other in the small jungle. They feed on different bamboo sticks and they also sleep in different pens. During this period, they rarely see each other. However, when Bai Yun, the female panda, enters her fertile period, Gao Gao will always be near her so that copulation and mating can occur. From this meeting, they produce a child and this method proves very effective for producing many children.
