Every step that company try to win the market, will always be depend on the Business Plan. You can describe it as a guide book for all division, so they can sing the same song, in different way. Overseas company always make a business plan during July to forecast what they will do on next year. It takes along time and details for a big step, to get a bigger profit like Owner usually demanded. However, local company in Indonesia, only do it starting November to forecast, to brings detail about what they will do on next year. Most of local company walk with immature plan. When the plan have to run, usually plan will denied by financial, or production. So the plan always not started on time. Even sometimes local company like learning by doing. In the end they will get nothing.Big zero.

To make a business plan, we need to think not only one plan, but several plan. Make an “if” and “if” Because somehow during a year, there will always be a change in market, and company have to adapted, absorb it. “We can do this if…” , “We can still do that if….” This is really important.

Before u make a business plan, u have to survey first. If you are only a small company, u are the one the free charge people to survey the market.

My lecturer always said, never.. never be afraid to go down by yourself into market, even though u are a boss. Market its a remarkable and a deadly tools to be handle by company.
