Does New Indonesian Era Brings Better Future ?

Since the first crisis on 1998, Indonesia looks like never woke up and still under circumstances of poverty. The reformation brings negative and positive for Indonesia. It said that Develop Country would through the darkness of their era as one of the transition. The question is, how long does it takes ? Meanwhile, every year the number of people below the line of welfare getting up step by step. But the governor still busy with rotating the economic wheel with another fund from foreign investor.

Every election always give promise but all of it perhaps just a word to gain on meeting without doing action. They thing as long as they are concern about the problems, it means they already tried to take care and clean hand for the rest of it.

The strange thing is many foreign investor really enjoy make investment on Indonesia. Even lots of people are poor here and the corruption for money “under table” anywhere from top till toe, they like with it. “As long as you paid, you get what you want.”, some foreign entrepreneurial said that. Beside the labor are cheaper, the permission to build a building and also the new side of business are really easy better then another country like USA, or Europe with tight policy. There is no quality control on Indonesia, and has no strong clausal to protect labor from company.

Again, what is the reformation are for ? Well, as far as we can see is just mess for all. Much people are suffer, the rich people will be richer and the poor will be poorer. How sad it is. It looks like, the wheel of economy turn around not spreading equal and also the country becoming poorer and poorer. Lots of investor win the market and stand up with their kingdom on Indonesia and it is just the beginning. 50% of our people still live with improper education. And people who can reach high education run away from Indonesia and had choosen to live outside. What we need to do now that we should turn down the crazy cost of education. The priority is make the tuition fee much reasonable for them who is becoming our hope for the future. To build our country and bring it to compete with another country. To make our people believe in their own country to educate their child.

Japan is the first Asia who can compete against USA and Europe, Singapore which has got a big trust and power to run of business and a gateway through Asia, the next is China with big people, and the other is Malaysia . Vietnam start to crawl and it will rise up. Then, when is the Indonesia moment ? Indonesia also starting to wake up and all of economic analyst are belief that Indonesia will be a big country in the future.

Some of my friend from British said, he has saw something like this and it was part of process to change the culture of society and mindset. When the surround of Indonesia has already gotten up, then it will carry the others. So it will happen to with Indonesia too. It is only a matter of time.

I saw few times that in some provinces in Indonesia has set up some advertising to promote the beauty and how wonderful place they are. The government hopes that many investors will come and interesting to put some money in some area to improve the economic. Well, will see if it works.
