This is because before the blood drive, their laptop, which contained about 268,000 Minnesota-region blood donors, was stolen. This vital information is enough for the thief to misuse it for his or her own benefits. However, the laptop itself had a number of security gates and password protecting it, so the thief will not be able to access it shortly after the theft unless the thief is a tech-genius. The laptop thief was caught on the camera surveillance and now, in order to catch the thief, the video has been circulated among Minnesota public. Police are also looking for the thief and they believed that the theft is just a random crime.
