Is there a kit to run the fan on low when the furnace is off?
Looking to balance the temperatures in a house by running the furnace blower on low speed when the furnace (or A/C) is off. When heat (or cooling) is called for by the thermostat, it should run the fan on high.
I am capable of wiring in such a kit safely. Actually, I could design (I have designed much more complicated automation as my work) it but would rather buy a standard kit if it is available.
The fan motor IS wired for multiple speeds. I am not stupid enough to ask if it wasn’t.
Turning the fan on at the thermostat runs the fan at the same speed as heating. I want it to be on at a lower speed (less power used) when just circulating the air.
No…The fan motor has to wound for multiple speeds…You could get a new milti speed motor
